The mission of the Guernsey Youth Service is to work with young people* to assist in their development of life skills, particularly targeting those who are identified as most in need, and to support the work of other agencies and voluntary groups working with young people aged 5 to 25 years. For Registered Clubs/Groups & Workers (inc. volunteers): Extensive training programme in youth work & related fields Annual Conference Opportunity to apply for grants Free Criminal Record Checks Free use of minibuses Free loans of equipment & library resources Specialist information, support and advice Free subscription to UKYouth Link to other regional and national bodies e.g. National Youth Agency
