6th January 2012

Dear Parent/Carer

I am pleased to be able to inform you that we have welcomed Mr Geoff Cowley, School Improvement Partner, to La Mare de Carteret High School this week. Mr Cowley will be working with the school's senior leadership team over the next two terms on general school improvement issues.

We are also pleased to be able to provide additional support to our English and Maths Departments over the next two terms through two subject advisors who will work alongside our existing staff supporting the teaching and learning in these subjects. In addition, the advisors will assist with the further development of literacy and numeracy skills across the school.

These three new members of staff are in addition to the existing teaching team.

If you have any further questions about these new members of staff please contact me via the school office.

Yours sincerely

Ken Wheeler
Headteacher
