Your guide to Higher Education funding
Adult Learning
The Education Department is committed to providing all islanders with the opportunity to access learning opportunities throughout their lives as we are convinced that Lifelong Learning is the key to maintaining the prosperity and well-being of the island.
We recognise that public bodies such as the College of Further Education, the Institute of Health and Social Care Studies and the Guernsey Training Agency play a key role in providing those opportunities but equally, private organisations such as the Open University and Workers' Educational Association make a significant contribution.
Although Guernsey is a small island with a population catchment area that is the equivalent of a small to medium sized town in the United Kingdom, the island is well-served by Adult learning opportunities.
