Post 16 Education
Nearly 80% of young people choose to stay in full time education after completing Year 11. The latest figures show around 87% of young people are either choosing to be in full-time education or work-based training.
There are a number of different options for young people to choose when deciding on which education or training route they want to take once they reach the age of 16.
Careers teachers in schools or advisors from the Careers Service can provide advice and guidance on making the right choices.
